The Venus-Uranus quincunx shows a repeating scenario where the wish to be loved collides with the wish to be special and free. Venus wants approval, beauty, sympathy, pleasure, and acceptance. Uranus wants to stand out, disturb the usual order, act unlike everyone else, and preserve inner independence. With the quincunx, it is hard for the person to join these two wishes: they want admiration for being different, but fear society will reject them for it.
