The Venus-Chiron conjunction makes the themes of love, attractiveness, self-worth, and pleasure unusual and vulnerable at the same time. The person may feel early that their tastes, desires, style, ideas of beauty, or understanding of relationships differ from their familiar environment. They are not looking simply for love, but for a special way to be desired and accepted without losing their strangeness. Yet this is often where the wound appears: fear of not being beautiful, loved, valuable, interesting, or "right" enough for a partner.
Venus here does not like simple schemes. The person may be drawn to nonstandard relationships, unfamiliar aesthetics, unusual people, creative circles, and experiments with style, voice, body, art, and lifestyle. They may differ sharply from the family value system: choosing another circle, another profession, another view of money, love, pleasure, and status. Sometimes this is liberation. Sometimes it is protest for the sake of protest, when the person rejects the parental model but has not yet found their own.
