Sun in the twelfth house is one of the most difficult placements for direct self-expression. Here solar energy goes into the hidden layer of life: the subconscious, solitude, service, closed spaces, inner fears, and spiritual searches. It is rarely enough for the person simply to step forward and receive recognition. Their path more often begins with the question: “who am I really?”
Outwardly they may live an ordinary life, but inside feel that the real mission is hidden deeper than profession or status. Sometimes it seems that personal will is weaker than circumstances or family expectations. From this comes the difficulty of being seen: the person does much, helps, supports, but their contribution is not always noticed. This can bring fatigue, envy of louder people, and pain from feeling that their light remains in shadow.
