The Mars-Jupiter quincunx shows a repeating scenario where the wish to help, act, and be significant meets the question of boundaries. Mars wants to intervene, solve, protect, do things quickly and forcefully. Jupiter wants to be useful, wise, authoritative, generous, and fair. In the quincunx, the person often acts from good intentions, but does not always ask whether this help is needed by those they are rescuing.
The aspect may give authoritarianism disguised as care. The person takes on other people's problems, performs duties for colleagues, relatives, or students, solves things faster and better, then feels hurt if there is no gratitude. It can be hard to believe they can be respected without heroic contribution, so they unconsciously try to earn love and recognition through active usefulness.
